Dashboard Warning Lights
Pick a warning light to learn what it means, how serious it may be, and what to do next. Search by name — oil, battery, ABS, tire — or filter by system.
No warning light matches that. Try a shorter word (like oil, brake or tire), clear the filters, or call us and describe the symbol.
The colour tells you most of it
Red means stop and deal with it. Amber means something has faulted and needs looking at, but you are not usually in immediate trouble. Green and blue are not warnings at all — they are telling you a feature is switched on.
Warning-light symbols and meanings can vary by vehicle. Always check your owner’s manual for vehicle-specific information.
