Fair traffic in September genuinely changes drive times here. If you are coming from Puyallup that month, call first and we will book you outside the crush.

Auto Repair for Puyallup Drivers

Auto Star is in Graham, not Puyallup, so it's worth being upfront about the drive: about 11 miles, usually around 19 minutes, north on Meridian E through South Hill. It's a straightforward trip, and a lot of our Puyallup customers tell us they'd rather drive the extra distance than deal with a shop that's booked out for two weeks.

We get cars from all over Puyallup, including downtown, Riverside, Woodland, and Firgrove. If you're near the Fairgrounds or Pioneer Park, the route out to us is the same either way, straight down Meridian.

One thing worth knowing if you're coming from Puyallup: September is different. Fair traffic changes drive times around town in ways that have nothing to do with us, but they affect when you can realistically get here and back. If you're booking a repair that month, call ahead and we'll set your appointment for a time that avoids the worst of it. It's a small thing, but it saves you from sitting in traffic on top of whatever brought your car in.

Once you're here, the shop is small enough that Jabarjeet Singh or Gurjivan Singh, the owners, are usually the ones you talk to, not a corporate service counter. The front desk handles the write-up, and Tony Sindhu does the diagnostic and driveability work plus brakes, oil changes, and light body work. Punjabi is spoken here too, if that's easier for you or a family member.

We're open Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. If you're commuting from Puyallup and weekday hours are tight, call ahead and we'll work out a drop-off time that fits.

We handle the usual list: oil changes, brakes, engine and transmission work, electrical and check engine light diagnostics, heating and A/C, and exhaust and emissions. If your car's going to take more than a day, we'll tell you that upfront rather than guess. Call us at (253) 375-7057 if you want to talk through what's going on before you make the drive out.
