Steady vs flashing
A steady TPMS light means at least one tire is low — check and adjust pressures. A light that flashes for a minute or so and then stays on means the monitoring system has a fault and cannot reliably watch your pressures.
Can I drive?
Yes, but you have lost your low-pressure safety net, so check your tire pressures by hand more often until it is fixed.
Common causes
A dead sensor battery (they last years, not forever), a sensor that was not relearned after tire work, or a receiver fault.
