Transmission Repair in Graham
A transmission that slips, shifts hard, or hesitates before it grabs is not something to wait on. Fluid changes and small repairs are cheap compared to a rebuilt or replacement transmission, and the gap between those two bills is usually a matter of how long the problem sat before someone looked at it.
The early signs are easy to miss because they come and go. A delay when you shift into drive or reverse. A clunk or a flare in RPM before the gear catches. Slipping on a hill, where the engine revs up but the truck doesn't pick up speed to match. Fluid spots on the driveway, usually red or brown, sometimes with a burnt smell. Sometimes the right answer is to keep driving it carefully and save toward a different car, not sink money into a transmission that's near the end of its life anyway.
