Midland customers usually combine the trip with something else on Meridian, so we are happy to hold a finished car until the end of the day at no charge.
Auto Repair for Midland, WA
Midland is about 11 miles from our shop on Meridian, usually around 19 minutes depending on traffic. The way most people come is north on Meridian, then west on 112th St E. It's not a quick trip around the corner, and we don't pretend otherwise. But we do work on a fair number of cars from Midland, Summit View, Waller, and the Brookdale edge.
Because it's a real drive, most Midland customers we see aren't making a special trip just for us. They're already headed up Meridian for something else, near Midland Elementary or out toward the Pierce County Airport corridor, and the car repair gets folded into the day. That's fine with us. If your car is done before you're ready to come get it, we'll hold it until the end of the day at no charge. No need to rush back across town on our schedule.
We're open Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. If your schedule is tight during the week, call ahead and we'll help you line up a time.
Auto Star is a small, family-run shop in Graham. Jabarjeet Singh handles A/C and electrical work. Gurjivan Singh handles car sales. Tony Sindhu is our lead mechanic for driveability, engine, transmission, and diagnostic work. He also covers brakes, oil changes, and light body work. Our front desk can walk you through what a repair actually involves before you commit to it. Punjabi is spoken here if that's easier for you.
We handle routine maintenance, brake repair, engine and transmission work, electrical diagnostics, heating and A/C, exhaust and emissions, battery issues, check engine light diagnosis, and oil changes. If your car needs something we don't do, we'll tell you that too, rather than take the job anyway.
We opened in November 2022 under new ownership, and we say that plainly because a shop's history matters when you're trusting someone with an expensive repair. We're currently rated 4.8 to 4.9 stars on Google from around 110 reviews. If you're coming from Midland, call ahead at (253) 375-7057 and we can talk through timing so the trip up Meridian is worth it.
