2001 Ford ZX2 Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement

The owner of a 2001 Ford ZX2 with 187,054 miles came to the shop needing both rear wheel bearings replaced. They brought their own replacement parts for the job.

What we found

The rear wheel bearings required replacement. Because the customer brought their own parts, no diagnostic time was charged and the work was performed as requested.

What we did

We removed the old rear wheel assemblies on both sides, repacked the new customer-supplied bearings with fresh grease, and installed them.

How it turned out

Both rear wheel bearings were replaced and the car was returned to the driver. Because the customer provided the parts, the job carries no warranty.
We are willing to install parts you purchase yourself, but keep in mind that customer-supplied parts do not come with a shop warranty.

Prices and times are what this job took on this vehicle. Yours may differ — we will tell you before we start, not after.
