Welcome to Auto Star Garage ("Auto Star Service Center," "we," "us," or "our"). By authorizing repairs, purchasing parts, or utilizing our website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the repair and maintenance services provided at our facility located at 28801 Meridian E, Graham, WA 98338.

For any repair or maintenance work expected to cost more than $100.00, you have the right to request a written estimate before we begin work. When you drop off your vehicle, you may choose to:
If you request a written estimate, Auto Star Service Center will not charge you more than 110% of the total estimated cost (exclusive of retail sales tax) without obtaining your prior verbal or written consent. If additional diagnostic findings require work that exceeds this threshold, we will halt repairs and contact you for authorization before proceeding.
Under Washington State law, you have the right to inspect or receive any parts replaced during the repair of your vehicle. You must request the return of these parts at the time you authorize the repair. Please note that parts required to be returned to the manufacturer or distributor under a warranty or core charge agreement are exempt, but may be inspected by you before they are returned.
STATE LAW NOTICE: "A buyer of auto repair services in the state of Washington is entitled to an estimate of the cost of repairs if the cost will exceed one hundred dollars. The repair facility cannot exceed the estimate by more than ten percent without the buyer's authorization."
We utilize advanced computer scanners and pinpoint circuit testing for modern vehicle diagnostics. Diagnostic services incur a dedicated fee which covers the technician's time and the use of specialized equipment. This fee applies regardless of whether you choose to proceed with the recommended repair.
If diagnosing your vehicle requires dismantling or a "teardown" of major components (such as an engine or transmission), we will provide you with a specific estimate for the teardown. This estimate will include the cost of reassembling the vehicle if you choose not to proceed with the final repair.
Payment in full is strictly required before any vehicle is released back to the customer. We accept Cash, major Credit Cards, and pre-approved financing. We do not accept personal checks without prior managerial approval.
Pursuant to Washington State Law, Auto Star Service Center asserts a Possessory Mechanic's Lien on your vehicle for the total amount of the final invoice, including all labor, parts, diagnostic fees, and applicable storage charges. We have the legal right to retain possession of your vehicle until the bill is paid in full. Failure to pay may result in the lawful sale of the vehicle to satisfy the outstanding debt.
Once your vehicle repair is complete, or once a diagnostic estimate has been provided and you decline further repairs, you will be notified via phone or text message. Vehicles left on the Auto Star Garage premises for more than three (3) business days following this notification will incur a daily storage fee of $45.00 per day, unless prior arrangements have been made with management.
Vehicles left unpaid and abandoned for more than 30 days will be processed as abandoned vehicles in accordance with Washington State Department of Licensing regulations.
Auto Star Service Center stands behind our workmanship. We provide a limited warranty on repairs, covering defects in parts and labor for a period specified on your final invoice (typically 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, unless otherwise stated).
Auto Star Garage operates both a service center and a used car dealership. These Terms and Conditions apply strictly to our mechanical repair and diagnostic services. All vehicles purchased from our sales department (viewable at autostarwa.com) are subject to a separate Buyer's Order, Purchase Agreement, and distinct Warranty/As-Is documentation provided at the time of sale.
